Services
Noise Pollution Rules
This service helps citizens to follow Noise Pollution rules issued by Government of India. According to Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000, a silence zone is an area of at least 100 meters around hospitals, educational institutions, courts, and religious places. The competent authority can declare other areas as silence zones. In these zones, the use of vehicular horns, loudspeakers, and bursting crackers is banned
National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS)
This service helps citizens to get aware of NAAQS. The Clean Air Act, which was last amended in 1990, requires EPA to set National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) for pollutants considered harmful to public health and the environment. The Clean Air Act established two types (Primary and Secondary) of National Air Quality Standards
Live Air Quality Index
This service helps citizens to check Air Quality Index in real time. Air Quality Index depicts the extent of air pollution at a particular location. The AQI tracks ozone (smog) and particle pollution (tiny particles from smoke, power plants and factories, vehicle exhaust, and other sources). This service also helps to define Air Quality Index Scale to know about the category of air quality index (AQI) ambient air falls in and what it implies
Water Quality Standards
This service helps citizens to follow Water Quality Standards defined as per CPCB. The Water Quality Standards primarily consist of Water Quality Criteria, WHO (World Health organisation) Drinking Water Specifications and BIS Drinking Water Specifications
