Services
Arjun Award
This services provided the users to submit the application form for Arjun Award Scheme. Arjuna Awards was instituted in 1961, This award is given to players who have exhibited good performance consistently for the previous four years at the International level and have shown qualities of leadership, sportsmanship and a sense of discipline. The Awardees are given a statuette, a certificate, ceremonial dress and a cash prize of Rs. 15.00 lakh.
Assistance to National Sports Federation
The objectives of the schemes is (i) to define the areas of responsibility of the various agencies involved in the promotion and development of sports (ii) to identify National Sports Federations eligible for coverage under these guidelines to set priorities and to detail the procedures to be followed by the Federation to avail of Government sponsorship and assistance (iii) to state the conditions for eligibility which the Government will insist upon while releasing grants to Sports Federations.
Dhyan Chand Award
Dhyanchand Awards for Lifetime Achievements in Sports and Games, instituted in 2002, are given to honour those sportspersons who have contributed to sports by their performance and continue to contribute to promotion of sports even after their retirement from active sporting career. The awardees are given a statuette, a certificate, ceremonial dress and a cash prize of Rs. 10.00 lakh.
Drona Charya Award
Users can submit this form to apply for Dronacharya Award Scheme. Dronacharya Awards, instituted in 1985, are given to honour eminent Coaches who have successfully trained sportspersons or teams and enabled them to achieve outstanding results in International competitions. The Awardees are given a statuette of Guru Dronacharya, a certificate, ceremonial dress and a cash prize of Rs. 10.00 lakh (for Regular Category) and Rs 15.00 lakh (for lifetime Category).
Khelo India
The Khelo India programme has been introduced to revive the sports culture in India at the grass-root level by building a strong framework for all sports played in our country and establish India as a great sporting nation. Users can submit this form to apply for Khelo India scheme.
Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education (LNIPE), Gwalior
The Institute is an autonomous organization under administrative control of Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India and it is run through the Society registered under the Madhya Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 1973. Users can submit this form to apply for LNIPE Scheme.
National Sports Development Fund
National Sports Development Fund (NSDF) was established in 1998 under the Charitable Endowments Act 1890. Main objective is to administer and apply the moneys of the Fund for promotion of sports in specific sports disciplines and individual sports persons in particular for achieving excellence at the National and International level. Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar Scheme
The Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar is a sports honour of the Republic of India. The name of the award in Hindi translates to National Sports Promotion Award. National welfare fund of Sportspersons
The main objective of National welfare fund of sports person scheme is to provide suitable assistance to outstanding sportspersons injured during the period of their training for competitions and also during the competitions, depending on the nature of the injury. Pension to Meritorious Sportsperson
The Main Objective is provide incentive as well as an added measure of financial security to sportspersons in recognition of their outstanding performance in identified international competitions i.e., Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games and Asian Games and World Cups/World Championships in Olympics and Asian Games disciplines and Para-Olympic Games.
