    Department for the Welfare of SC/ST/OBC, Government of NCT of Delhi invites applications for Merit Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC/Minority Students Pursuing Professional/Technical Courses, Delhi from recognised colleges/professional/technical institutions. This scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to eligible students so that they can complete their higher education. Selected students will receive up to INR 1,860 per month for 12 months.

    The Main objective of this scheme is to support parent of SC Children for education of their wards studying in Class IX and X so that the incidence of drop-out, especially in the transition from the elementary to the secondary stage is minimized. It also improve participation of SC children in classes IX and X of the pre-matric stage, so that they perform better and have a better chance of progressing to the post-matric stage of education. Scholarship will be paid to the students whose parents/guardian's income from all sources does not exceed Rs 2,00,000.

    Reimbursement of Tuition Fees for Students Belonging to SC/ST/OBC Category

    Department for the Welfare of SC/ST/OBC Category, Government of NCT of Delhi invites applications for Reimbursement of Tuition Fee for SC/ST/OBC . This scholarship aims to provide reimbursement of the tuition and other compulsory fees to the financially weak students in recognized public sector schools in Delhi. Selected students will receive up to 100% reimbursement of fee under this scheme.

    Delhi Family Benefit Scheme

    Apply for the Delhi family benefit scheme under Government of NCT of Delhi. This is a social support scheme that is meant for the household of a deceased person who is the primary earning member in the family. This scheme was launched to assist those Below Poverty Line (BPL) families whose alone bread earner expires due to natural or accidental cause. Under this scheme, a lump sum of Rs.20,000 is given to the bereaved household in case of the Death of the primary breadwinner may be naturally or by accident. The scheme is only applicable to the BPL families underage ranging from 18-65 years, i.e. more than 18 years of age and less than 65 years of age.

The main objective of this scheme is to provide social benefit to the poor household in the case of PWDs Beneficiary : People living Below Poverty Line with the age group of 18-79 years and having 80% and above /multiple disabilities are eligible to get the pension.

    Old Age Pension Scheme

    The Government of Delhi has launched an old age pension scheme for the benefits of the senior citizens in the state. The main objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance in the form of monthly pension to the eligible senior citizens of the state. Under this Old Age Assistance Scheme, the Government provides financial assistance of Rs. 2000 per month for the applicants of age group between 60 to 69 years. The Government also provides an additional amount of Rs. 500 per month to SC/ST/Minority community beneficiaries. Those who are above the age of 70 years, Rs. 2500 per month will be provided. Under this Delhi Old Age Assistance Scheme, the Government will transfer the pension amount to the beneficiaries directly through their bank account through the ECS system of Reserve Bank of India.
